This master program is for anyone who would like to make it as a Professional Make-up Artist for Print, Beauty, Fashion, Film, Retail and Wedding work.

Following each demonstration the student will spend 2/3 days practising each make-up on different face during Practical Hours
 
Lectures will involve hair theoretical, demonstratives as well as
practical aspects.
 
Fashion Styling (Guest Lecture)
• Introduction to Fashion Styling
• The combination on the hairstyle, the wardrobe and the make up
• The co-operative work
• The overall image
 
Beauty Make Up (Guest Lecturer, Biby Chow)
• To create natural beauty make up for Bridal, Print Work & Film
 
Portfolio / Shoot

Discussions on handling and laying out the invoice and business card,
As well as preparing a portfolio and CV

 

On the final day each student will create make-ups for a portfolio presentation, a hairdresser will assist with hair and the final results will be photographed by a professional photographer.  This is to give the student an idea of what it is like on a real ‘shoot’.  

* RM400 will be extra charged for Professional Photographer and Models.

Weekdays & Weekends
Make-up: 20 sessions x 6 hours (weekday/weekend)= 120 hours
Hair course: 8 sessions x 6 hours (weekday/weekend) = 48 hours
Total of Make-up and Hair: 28 sessions
Total course hours: 168 hours

Note:

  • Following each makeup demonstration the student will spend 1-2 times practicing each makeup on different faces.
  • You are most welcome to come back after your graduation for your practical work with your models (within half year duration after graduation).
  • Monica will conduct 30% of the makeup class.

Terms and Conditions:

  • Registration fee of RM150 is required for this course.
  • Registration deadline for this course is two weeks before the intake date.
  • RM 500 deposit will be required for this course (non-refundable and non-transferable)
